Pooks.ai

Pooks.ai is a former AI personalized book service whose website now announces its closure. Pooks.ai made personalized books with AI, but no longer takes new orders. The page serves existing customers through a sign-in link for book downloads and directs visitors interested in making a new book to sister services. The website identifies BookBud.ai and StarringMyKid.com as services from the same team that carry on the book-making work, with different options depending on the kind of book a visitor wants.

Pooks.ai currently offers access to existing books and information about alternative book-making services, rather than accepting new book orders. The distinction matters when evaluating the website: personalized book creation describes the former service, while the current page provides a download route and links elsewhere. BookBud.ai is presented for full-length book writing, and StarringMyKid.com is presented for illustrated stories featuring a child. These creation capabilities belong to the named sister sites, not to a reopened Pooks.ai service.

Pooks.ai directs existing book owners to sign in and download their books. For a new project, the page asks visitors to choose the sister site that fits the book they have in mind. BookBud.ai describes a workflow for planning, writing and editing a full-length book with an AI writing partner, followed by cover design and publish-ready ebook export. StarringMyKid.com describes a different workflow: upload a child's photo, select a theme and receive an illustrated storybook with the child as the hero.

Pooks.ai now addresses existing customers who already have a book and visitors seeking another place to create one. The page separates those needs instead of presenting a single new-order workflow. Existing customers receive a sign-in route, authors are pointed toward BookBud.ai, and visitors interested in a picture book starring their child are pointed toward StarringMyKid.com. The page also mentions PrivateChief, described as a personal AI chief of staff from the same team, separately from the book-making services.

Pooks.ai does not state pricing for its former book service, and the closure notice says new orders are no longer accepted. Existing book owners are directed to sign in for downloads. The pricing-related statements on the page concern the sister services: BookBud.ai is free to start, and StarringMyKid.com offers a free preview before an ebook or printed keepsake option. Those offers should not be treated as a Pooks.ai free tier or as evidence of pricing for previously ordered Pooks.ai books.
