What is You Got Cooking?
You Got Cooking is an AI recipe suggestion service for aspiring home cooks looking for ideas based on ingredients they have at home. The website describes a way to get recipes generated by AI, with available ingredients providing the basis for suggestions rather than a particular dish being the stated starting point.
You Got Cooking presents recipe generation as a free service and asks for voluntary coffee donations to help keep it running. The website also sets expectations about the suggestions: AI is not perfect, and a generated recipe may not match the taste of the person preparing it.
What You Got Cooking can do
You Got Cooking generates recipe suggestions using AI and bases those suggestions on ingredients available at home. The website also addresses language choice, recommending English for the best recipe results while stating that other languages work too. These are the concrete recipe-generation capabilities described in the supplied page text.

- You Got Cooking suggests recipes based on ingredients at home.
- You Got Cooking works with English and other languages.
How You Got Cooking works
You Got Cooking uses the ingredients a person has at home as the basis for AI-generated recipe suggestions. English is the recommended language for the best results, although the website says other languages also work. The supplied text explains this ingredient-to-recipe approach without describing a detailed interface or setup process.
You Got Cooking advises common sense when following any generated recipe. The website explains that AI cannot physically taste its suggestions, so a recipe should not be treated as something the AI has tested by tasting. The stated workflow therefore includes a need for the cook's own judgment.
Who You Got Cooking is for
You Got Cooking is aimed at aspiring home cooks who want recipe ideas connected to ingredients already available at home. The stated use is finding cooking suggestions from those ingredients. You Got Cooking lists [email protected] for resolving those issues, but the supplied text does not explain a paid plan.
You Got Cooking strengths and limitations
You Got Cooking combines ingredient-based recipe suggestions with free access and support for multiple languages.
